The treasurer reported $11,056.17 in the budget.

Beggar’s Night was set for October 31, 2009 from 6 – 8 PM.

The following Resolution was passed.  Motion by Dennis Echlinger; second by Kermit Beckworth.

RESOLUTION SUPPORTING

CLERMONT COUNTY TOWNSHIP ASSOCIATION

Endorsing the Ohio Township Association’s (OTA) Effort to create legislation that deals with damage done to township roads as a result of use by heavy trucks; and

            WHEREAS, the Clermont County Township Association represents the 14 townships in Clermont County; and

            WHEREAS, the Clermont County Township Association’s officers have the welfare and best interest of the 14 townships in Clermont County; and

            WHEREAS, the Clermont County Township Association’s mission is to provide assistance in resolving issues that negatively impact the operations of the 14 townships in Clermont County;

THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that members of Clermont County Township Association’s efforts to request the OTA’s Legislative Director to lobby the Ohio’s State Legislature to create legislation that deals with damage done to township roads as a result of use by heavy trucks. This legislation would require payment for any road damage they cause.

Frank Wilson reported about the Fair and Ed Humphrey will post the pictures on the web.

Danny Bubp reported that the state budget was not looking good.

Ed Humphrey and Dave Spinney discussed the county’s role in developing the old Ford Plant.

Deborah Clepper wanted all the townships to send copies of cemetery records to the Recorder’s Office.

Dave Spinney reported the Communications System was up and running.

The next meeting will be hosted by the Engineer’s Office.

Howard Doughtery, Todd Gadbury from the Engineer’s Office and Kermit Beckworth discussed the covered bridge in Stonelick Township and its scheduled renovations.
