Meeting called to order by President Ed Humphrey

Pledge of Allegiance

Roll call of officers:  Ed Humphrey and Joyce Richardson were present.

Tom Dix and T. J. Corcoran were absent.

Miami – 1 + 1

Monroe – 2 + 1

Ohio - 1

Pierce - 1 + 1

Stonelick - 1

Union – 4 + 2

Wayne- 1 honorary

Williamsburg- 2 + 1 honorary

Introduction of Guests:  Commissioners Proud and Walker, Mary Lambert, Rep. Uecker, Dave Spinney and Rob Alfieri

• Treasurer’s report - $11,076.47

• Minutes on web

• Pledge of Allegiance

• Beth Nevel spoke on Homeland Security in Clermont Cty., radio usage fees and volunteer opportunities ( Citizen Corps Volunteers, Amateur Radio Volunteer Teams), NIMS training, Regional concept of dividing Homeland Security money.

• Marty Lambert encouraged township trustees and fiscal officers to become a part of volunteer groups Medical Reserve Corp and Citizens Corp.  She gave update on Health District’s help with the high weed mitigation and update on the Ohio smoking ban.

• Committee Reports by Ed Humphrey in writing

• Other committee reports – none

• Dave Spinney reported that dog license fees go to animal shelter.
