Motion by Curt Hartman to approve the minutes; second by Howard Daugherty. Motion carried.
Treasurer reported a balance of $18637.86.
Rex Parsons asked for a donation for the county historical society. The Charitable Contributions Committee will review all requests.
Ed Humphrey discussed TIF (Tax Increment Finance district).
Virgil Pollard reported on the banquet. He suggested at least a $1,000 from each township.
There was a discussion on reducing funding to the Clermont County Historical Society and eliminating the county historian position held by Rick Crawford.
Tom Dix
moved to send to the commissioners a resolution to revisit the funding
of Rick Crawford as the Clermont County historian.
Seconded by Frank Wilson. Motion

Curt Hartman moved that the Chairperson of the Association coordinate a meeting with the county commissioners and include townships, villages and cities. Seconded by Howard Daugherty. Motion approved. Skeets Humphries suggested do at an evening town meeting.
Paul Braasch from the Solid Waste Commission explained the recycling process and the need for 26 new sites. Joyce Richardson volunteered to serve on the commission. Moved by Joe Uecker; seconded by Curt Hartman. Motion approved.
Curt Hartman moved to adjourn; seconded by Frank Wilson. Motion carried. |
